The education crew has been putting in work at the Richmond High gardens :) We’ve been slowly trying to dedicate more time at the orchard. We started off with clearing the blackberry & weeds that have slowly been tryna take over the lemon tree. We started a compost donut and this is how it’s been looking definitely has taught us patience! The compost will be offered to the fruit trees in the orchard As mentioned in previous posts, our education crew supports multiple pr...ojects within Urban Tilth, including our herbal project that we’ve been trying to bring back! We got some herbal blends coming to our CSA very sooon!!! We dried the herbs and are now processing and prepping them to go out to heal our community! Also, if you haven’t yet....Check out our education programs that we are offering now to the youth in our community!! The Education crew will be hosting workshops with youth to teach about chicken care, herbal medicine, pollinators, purpose of insects, etc etc!!
