Upholstery & Wood Repair

Was up folks! Another antique wood carved piece that I got a pleasure to work with. Customer had it originally stained with a English Chestnut color and now I got this opportunity to strip it down to the raw wood and stain it with a Dark Red Mahogany. Another satisfied customer!!!

Here we have a antique chair that I reupholstered in a creamish vinyl color of material, along with brown finish nail trim all around the inside & outside of the chair.

Something different you dont see too often customer do to antique pieces that have sentimental value!

This is a sleeper sofa bed with attached back cushions, only the seat cushions are removal because it has the sleeper mechanism. Our seamstress did a hella of a good job sewing all the attatched back cushions, seat cushions with a top stitching through out the entire sofa. Course I reupholstered this one this week and gave it the final touch. Today Tony & I delivered this one, customer loved it and was excited over all. See "before & after" pictures.

This is an 82" sofa that just finished, it has a high skirt around it, I got the pleasure to reupholstered in a blue fabric. This sofa had a solid wood frame that will last another 20 years plus, not like some of the new furniture built out their, now and days its not real wood, its compressed wood!!!!!

Here's a attoman with a solid green material on the top, along with colorful skirt around the ottoman. I reupholstered this one today in a white /colorful top, along with a yellow & white checker lines. Came out nice I got say!!!

This is a piano bench upholstered in leather and one of the buttons holding the diamond tuffting came apart. I unstaple the material on the back re-tie, pulled down and staple button back to standards.

This sofa had the foam bulging up inside the right side top armrest. I opened up part of the right side arm to re-glue the foam to wood frame and straighten out the foam than close the upholstery back to standards. The repairs made in customer home were successful

This shop has been my dad shop, Jeorge Chavez in buissnes serving many communities around the bay area for 30 years carrying a outstanding quality workmanship reputation. This has been a family & friendly buissnes with a nice community around the fruitvale, diamond district. I have 20 years of experience working on custom furniture upholstery, also do wood & leather touch up. As I work here at the shop, at home and sometimes out on the road going to customers home as a service tech.

One of the lattest projects that came out fabulous, this chaise lounge was reupholstered in a light purple velvet.!!
