In the same way that pandemics affect all us, menstruation is part of the reality for women, girls and transgender men the world over.

In Kenya, 6 out of 10 girls have never heard about menstruation until their first period. And 65 percent of menstruating girls and women in the nation cannot sustainably access sanitary pads. Advocate for more and improved investment for MHH. Include menstrual health in relevant SRHR, public health and multisectoral policies, strategies and frameworks #ActionforMHEducation

Upendo Women’s Foundation would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the all partners and sponsors for their generosity that made Mission Uganda 2019 activities a great success. Through your generosity we were able to participate in a medical mission that catered to over 1500 people, over 500 underprivileged girls in two schools received Upendo Dignity Kits and menstrual hygiene education to help keep a girl child in school. We also participated in a kids outreach... day that was massively attended by over 1000 children and reached out to over 250 women in a women’s dinner.
