Not that we need to, but we are sorry for the on/off/on conditions. We are only the messenger. Remember to email your support to amend the ordinance(s) necessary to urge the Commissioners to pass the amendment(s) needed to make this legal. The Grand County Commission administrator has requested that EJS attendees, RR4W members, and the 4-wheeling community send letters to the county commission in support of the amendment to the ordinance. Please send via email to: [email protected]

This is serious. We will have plenty of work to do in the next two to three years to reopen some of the trails.

If THIS doesn't get your attention, you are not well. This even frightens me, and I don't frighten easily when it comes to wheeling. PLEASE, take our warnings about mountain driving and trails like Black Bear Pass very seriously. Many little things differentiate mountain driving from the other wheeling you do. With over 54-years of mountain driving experience and being an anal student of wheeling, I wrote a 5-piece blog that describes many of those differences to awaken an...yone who plans to come to the high country with wheeling the roads and trails in mind. Of course, this blog does not cover EVERY situation, but it covers most of the ones you will be subject to. Please take the time to learn BEFORE you take the chance to tumble down a mountain like this red Jeep. You can find the blog at https://happytrails4wdblog.blogspot.com//high-mountain-dri This is one of the educational and safety articles written for the United Four Wheel Drive Associations. We care for your safety and that you KNOW the"rules of the trail". With this knowledge and some experience on the lesser difficult and dangerous trails, we all win. Trail etiquette is something each and every wheeler should KNOW. No matter what mode of motorized transportation you drive or ride, these "rules", when properly applied, make the experience of your trip more memorable. And lastly, don't forget that PUBLIC LANDS ARE NOT TRASH RECEPTACLES.

When using the best available science that the liberals all keep challenging conservatives to use, this argument is mostly put to bed. The best available science tells us that there is no harmful effects from OHV use on the sand dunes and that it is NOT OHVs causing a dust problem. This is simply another power grab by a few environ-mentalists extremists. Do NOT allow this to go forth!!
