Greetings! It's been a while since we last posted and we hope all is well... With that said, we've decided, moving forward, we'd like to keep you up to date with what's happening here at our humble office. First up... I'd like to introduce to you one of our newest doctors... Dr. Barzin. Dr. Barzin received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and History at Syracuse University before graduating with honors from the New York College of Dentistry in 2017. In 2018, he complete...d a one-year general practice residency with Weill Cornell in New York City. He is a San Francisco native and is excited to bring a patient-centric focus to Union Street Dental Care, with emphasis on patient education. When outside of the clinic, Dr. Barzin enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, often seen taking advantage of the city’s dynamic food scene. He enjoys hiking and camping, relaxing to the latest hit podcast, and traveling in search of new cuisines. Be sure to ask at your next appointment! Welcome aboard Dr. Barzin!!!

Dear Patients, It has been my distinct honor to be your dentist. In some cases, I have treated three generations of your family. Each of you has become a valued friend. After practicing dentistry for 46 years, I have decided to practice less. I will continue to be at the office one or two days per week. We also have the services of Dr. Shapira the last week of each month. As you know he specializes in all your implant needs. So please refer anyone in need of his services.... After a long and careful search, I have found the right dentist to work the rest of the days. He is Dr. Jason Groff, a caring, talented and compassionate professional, who shares my commitment to exemplary dentistry. From Dr. Groff, I am confident that you will continue to receive quality treatment. Dr. Groff is a graduate of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry right here in San Francisco. So yes he’s a local. Coincidentally he grew up on the East coast not far from where I was raised. He is an expert in the food scene here in the city, and can recommend his favorite places to you. He and his daughter, Hailey, live in Mill Valley where she attends 8th grade and plays on the volleyball team and is a straight A student. I know you will be pleased with Dr. Groff and will extend to him the same courtesy and loyalty that you have afforded me over these many years and Dr. Shapira. Dr. Groff and I have worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition in response to your specific needs. We will gladly answer any of your questions about the transition in the weeks ahead.
