One important industry trend is fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) chips and technologies, which will be able to guard against quantum computing threats. And, big hitters like IBM are just about ready to introduce their FHE services to the market. In fact, Gartner's research says 25% of all companies will have homomorphic encryption programs by 2025.

We’re loving all the talk of 200mm at SEMI’s MEMS and Sensors Executive Congress this year! Although 300mm #fab production has been in the spotlight for 20 years and will continue to be essential to smartphone production, 200mm gives us specialty memory, display drivers, microcontrollers, and MEMS, all of which are in high demand now. 200mm demand is ramping up, and it’s more crucial than ever for us to be able to serve this segment. Happy ! Our #OneUCT family had a delightful time across the globe celebrating the #MidAutumnFestival with family. In Hsinchu, UCT-ers painted pomelos, a seasonal fruit, and voted on their favorite designs. Elsewhere in Taiwan, families and friends gathered for barbeques. In our Singapore office and our HQ of Hayward, California, we hung lanterns. And everywhere, we enjoyed delicious mooncakes with family, friends, and customers!

#MeetUCT Meet Mandy Lai, our VP, HR Global Sites! Mandy is essential to acquiring and keeping the #OneUCT talent who drive our success. Mandy joined our family in 2018 as our Senior HR Director, Asia, and immediately fell in love with our values; namely, Relentless Drive to Succeed. Her leadership is why UCT Singapore is a finalist for the HR Excellence Award in the Learning and Development category. Outside of her stellar work with our talent, Mandy is a nature lover (the ...crispness of fall makes it her favorite season) and enjoys living an active life that hones her body and mind. She even has a small library in her office that she encourages others to borrow from! Mandy also has an adorable Maltese named Snowy. (Snowy inspired our music choice of Morning Snowflake for this video!)

#MeetUCT Meet Mario Denning, our VP of Operations Engineering! Mario joined us in August 2019 and has helped us align our New Product Introduction, improve operational efficiencies, and implement important Industry 4.0 activities. Prior to joining our #ONEUCT family, Mario held a number of senior operational positions at Lam Research, where he led their lean #manufacturing transition and was essential in establishing their chemical-mechanical polishing line. Mario loves the... spirit of #teamwork at UCT, and enjoys learning from and teaching those he works with. Before getting into tech, Mario was a commercial fisherman, and he still loves to get out and fly fish with friends and familyincluding the family dog, Sweetie.

We had over 900 visitors stop by our booth over the last three days to chat about ultra-high purity cleaning, coating, and testing, plus airborne molecular contamination monitoring, #ALD, and all sorts of other fun #fabs topics. Incredible turnout! Although in the middle of a pandemic and many international attendees were restricted from traveling, our booth was packed with visitors learning about our cleaning, coating, and analytical testing services. The floors were packed with local and regional attendees from the #semiconductorindustry. Says Eric Lee, UCT’s QuantumClean Global Account Manager.
