Thanks goodness he was there to spot the problems! And thank you to Mr. Luke for being an amazing instructor! So happy to hear how students and instructors use their skills in their career field to make a difference! Amazing job! #UEIPROUD #UEIChulaVista #AT #Auto
It's just a bunch of Hocus Pocus Check out Ms. Castillo's Hocus Pocus Potions display. But these aren't your ordinary potion recipes. These are our student's recipes for success. So, if you are ever on campus, feel free to read some of these stories for success. #UEIPROUD #UEIChulaVItsa #HocusPocus #PotionForSuccess #Motivation

On Thursdays, we wear pink! No, we really do! Some of our faculty and staff members regularly wear pink on Thursdays but today is special. We show our support for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth!
Our #UEIChulaVista campus showed our support for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth by wearing pink today! We wear pink to show that we stand in support of those who are affected and hope to find a cure. 100 points goes to the one who guesses where this movie quote is from, "I want my pink shirt back!" #UEICARES #UEIPROUD #WearPink #PinkThursdays
Congratulations Wendy on your accomplishments at UEI College! She is one of our Fall Salutatorians and Mentors for our Chula Vista Campus. Here what she has to say about her hard work while at UEI, her accomplishments, and some advice she would like to give for current and future UEI students: I am a UEI graduate working in Security. For a very long time I wanted to enroll in school but was not motivated enough. In 2017 my mom took over my grandma’s care because she had... Alzheimer’s. I took care of my grandma during the day while my mom worked. It was emotionally and physically exhausting. My grandma had passed last year. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things I did but I had to be strong for my family. Three months after, I felt depressed where I was in life, so I made the smart decision of enrolling in Criminal Justice. Looking back, I believe this was the best decision I have made. The staff was very supportive and motivating but it definitely was not easy. There were times when I felt like quitting but little by little my classmates said how they admired me and that I motivated them to do better. Which is one of the reasons why they nominated me to become a Mentor for my program. We became family and we all supported each other through school and life outside of the classroom. When classes resumed a few months ago, I became class Mentor. I was hired in my field before I graduated from my program, and I now work as a Security Guard. I can say I had a very strong work ethic while in school, giving my best in all assignments, and spent hours doing research. The day I went to purchase my cap and gown, I also received a mentor and honor roll sash but was not expecting to be one of this year’s Salutatorians. That moment I knew all my hard work had paid off. I would like to thank all the UEI staff for their support, my classmates, and my two instructors, Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Emison. Since day one, they believed that I can be a great student. I would also like to thank my family and close friends, especially my guardian angel, who has shown me strength and what I was capable of. My advice to current and future students is to never ever give up. No matter what, always believe in yourself and push yourself to do your best. Nothing is free in life and when you succeed in the challenges that are put in front of you, the outcome is wonderful. It was not easy, but I did it! #UEIGRAD #CriminalJustice #CJ #UEIPROUD #UEIChulaVista #Classof2020 #2020grad #CongratsGrad
