Design Frontiers 2021 is coming back stronger than ever, and we’re looking for teams of creative, collaborative individuals to join us! This four-day design sprint will start with a workshop from Fjord on Thursday, 5/20, then we’ll pass the baton to the teams, who will engage in ideation and iteration to conclude with a final presentation video for Fjord (due Sunday, 5/23 at 11:59 PM PDT). Registration is open to the public, but UCSD students will be prioritized. Interested in developing your UX research skills under the guidance of Sony’s Human Factors team? We’re excited to partner with Sony to host Headphone UX Review, a 2-week long teaching event that gives students first-hand insight into how human factors engineers at Sony contribute to the UX of headphones. This event is a self-exploration in understanding what it means to perform an expert review, synthesize notes, and ultimately contribute findings. We’ll be going over best practices for resume writing as well as tips and tricks to make your resume stand out to design recruiters.
