UCSB Associated Students Bike Committee

Hi everyone, unfortunately due to some logistical issues last quarter the CSOs will not be able to hold a used bike sale this quarter. Hopefully there will be one in early spring!

New year new bike path! Over the break we were finally able to fix the pothole by the Theater and Dance bike lot, and we made some improvements to the path near Chemistry.

We are so excited to be able to announce that UCSB has been rated a PLATINUM Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists. The AS Bike Committee has been working on this goal since we were ranked Gold in 2011, and safety programs such as our annual bike light giveaway (coming up in November, so stay tuned!) and our new bike share providing options for occasional riders and visitors were some of the key elements to our success. Congrats Gauchos!
