Each January, we learn important truths about homelessness through the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, a census of the homeless population in more than 80 c...ities. This article lays out many of our findings, including the fact that 75% of people experiencing homelessness in LA County lived in the county before losing their housing. Only 14% became homeless outside California before moving here. The Real Change Movement places repurposed parking meters throughout Pasadena to collect funds and raise awareness of the city's homeless programs.
