Here is a recap of the 2019 GHREAT program in Kenya. This specific project was directed by Dr. Guiyun Yan and completed in Homa Bay, Kenya this summer where two of our UCI medical students had the chance to study the diagnostic mechanisms and prevalence of malaria. This project was not only rich in research for the students, but allowed for an incredible opportunity to expand their perspective by interacting with patients and community members!
