Today's shoutout goes to a new RA in our lab! Here, we have Claire Choi, a second-year undergraduate student at UC Davis majoring in Psychology and minoring in Human Development. Claire grew up speaking Korean and English as she was raised in Texas and lived in Korea for a little bit prior to moving to CA. After graduation, Claire hopes to be a speech therapist or psychologist focusing on children. Outside of lab and out of many things Claire likes to do, one of them is making little characters with clay. Welcome, Claire!
This shoutout goes to Grace, our lab manager. Grace has been working with us for two years now and thanks to her strong dedication and hard work, she made it easier to interview, recruit new research assistants and finalize the research assistants' schedules. Those are just a few tasks that Grace is responsible for. We appreciate your work a lot Grace and Thank You!

Shoutout of the week goes to Divya Khanna, a third-year student double majoring in Human Development and Psychology. Growing up in California, and mainly speaking English, Divya pushed herself to learn Spanish by taking classes and tutoring others. With her current major and by joining our lab, Divya hopes to find her path which involves working with children to understand their development. Outside of school, Divya is a barista who loves interacting with new people on regular basis.
Today we will be introducing our newest undergraduate research assistant. Meet Anna Krueger, a third-year student majoring in Human Development and minoring in Human Physiology. Anna is from Walnut Creek, CA, and grew up in an English household, but always had a passion for understanding language development. From a young age, Anna would go with her siblings to their speech therapy sessions in order to gain a greater experience with the language. From there, she started to work with children at summer camps, tutoring them, etc. By joining our lab, Anna hopes to continue learning about children that will benefit her future career. Welcome to our lab, Anna.
Today, our shoutout goes to Miranda Kramer. Miranda joined our lab this quarter as a transfer student, pursuing a major in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior (NPB) with a minor in Psychology. With her great experiences with children, such as a behavior therapist for children with autism, through the lab, Miranda hopes to understand the different ways children learn from their environment. Outside of school, Miranda enjoys going to concerts and spending time with the family.
