The Global Ambassador Mentorship Program (GAMP) is currently accepting mentee applications! As an international student, we understand it may be challenging to build connections and make friends due to the limitations imposed by the pandemic, but we would like to offer you the opportunity to join our program as a mentee no matter where you are! At GAMP, we aim to create a space for our mentees to be successful on campus. Once you apply, you will be matched with a student ment...or who shares personality traits and interests with you. Your mentor will serve as a guide, but more importantly, a friend who can provide insight on life at UC Davis by sharing tips and tricks to help you adjust to various aspects of college life! The deadline for 2018-2019 Global Ambassador Mentorship Program applications have been EXTENDED until next Friday, February 9th! Make sure to submit your application soon! Being part of the Global Ambassador Program gives students the chance to be involved with the international campus community, work on new initiatives, and gain professional development and leadership skills, as well as use their existing skills (such as creativity and ...foreign language skills) to help further the program. We are looking for students with international experience either abroad or in the U.S., basic understanding of a language other than English and willingness to use it, and potential for leadership in thought and action.
