Important update: Amended Buyout Ordinance #SFRentControl Ruled invalid & unenforceable by the superior court of SF. This ordinance puts a 30 days cooling off period between when tenant signs the required disclosures and the date on which the agreement could be executed. Also, eviction settlements filed within 120 days is classified as a buyout initiation. This is a great victory for property owners in San Francisco as we are now back to the original rules before April 2020....
