Happy #NationalGoFishingDay! While we love that Tuolumne County has year-round fishing, in heatwaves like this one fish can get overheated like the rest of us so hang onto your rod and reel until it cools down a little to celebrate! : (Instagram: noel_russ, echocooperative, da_malasadas_method, kingofpain_2021)

Wander with us this Wednesday to the Sugar Pine Trail from the Lyon’s Reservoir Trailhead. Currently the Twain Harte Trailhead is closed for maintenance. This hidden gem trail offers beautiful views of what was once the Sugar Pine Railway grade. Lyons Reservoir does not allow swimming or boating but offers amazing sights of the lake, dam, and flumes below. Bikers, equestrians, and dogs on leashes are allowed on the trail. Check out this beautiful trailhead seasonally from April 30th-November 1st. Are you an avid hiker in Tuolumne County? Earn badges for trails completed! At www.visittuolumne.com/hiking-biking-trails

Wander with us this Wednesday to Yoshoku and Formosa in Downtown Sonora! Having just celebrated their 4th anniversary on January 12th, Yoshoku, is Tuolumne County’s destination for out-of-this-world ramen. Their sister establishment, Formosa, is the perfect place for an afternoon treat of milk tea or boba. There is a little something for everyone at Yoshoku! Their Japanese ramen and poke are influenced by contemporary flavors. Perfect for these cold winter days, try the more ...traditional spicy tonkotsu ramen or modern take on basil pesto ramen. Order online for ease of pickup and don’t skip on their daily buy-one-get-one deal on thai tea from 11am-2pm! Keep up with Yoshoku and Formosa on social media to be in the know for upcoming news and specials! Enjoy international cuisine throughout Tuolumne County. Dining locally while dreaming globally helps support our local restaurants.

Help keep Tuolumne County beautiful by: Taking your trash with you. Resources are limited and trash cans become overloaded very quickly in the High Sierra. Bringing broken plastic sleds home to recycle. Leaving your favorite spot or trail better than you found it.... As always remember, Tuolumne County is Too Cool To Trash! #TooCoolToTrash #VisitTuolumneCounty
