Before I make my announcement, I want to take this time to thank everyone who has supported us in our Pressed For Time venture. Without each person who has supported us in some form whether it be; donations, stopping by the shop, or just words of encouragement and promoting us, PFT would still be a dream and not a goal to complete. For those who don’t know, my business partner and I were offered an amazing opportunity to pilot our business, Pressed For Time thru, the Thr...ee Amigos Market & Deli located on 13th Avenue & Foothill Blvd for 3 months under special terms. As most know, PFT is an all natural juice & smoothie business with a committed mission to reform health/diet habits in the hood. As we set sail in the opportunity that was placed before us, we faced many challenges and did our best to HEAR the people as well as stay TRUE to our CORE VISION and MISSION. Unfortunately it has come to a point where we have to pull out PFT from the space and accept that our business does not meet the needs of the owner or the neighborhood. Going into this location blindly like we did was a step out on faith, as we did not have any data collected to understand the needs for this location. But we aren’t walking away from this location with the feeling of failure or loss. We gained WAY MORE than we put out to keep Pressed For Time up and running for these two months. We gained much needed knowledge and experience, we earned trust and respect from a lot of the OG’s who are the advocates for the community, and we may not have changed every persons mind that walked in that door about Kale and other fresh fruits and veggies, but we did get thru to a lot and even got people liking kale. I am that much more confident that when we open Pressed For Time in deep East Oakland and in our own spot, we will see the goal unfold that much more. With that being said, effective immediately, Pressed For Time will no longer be open at 1554 13th Avenue, Oakland Ca. 94606. Starting Saturday, May 6th (tomorrow) Pressed For Time will no longer be serving sandwiches or hotlinks.

It was brought to our attention that on Pressed For Time's flyer the hours are sort of consfuing and that it looks as if we are open only on Saturday's & Sundays but we are open 7 days a week. I just wanted to clear that up for anyone one else who also sees it as only Saturday & Sunday. ^_^ ... Have a lovely day and we look toward to seeing your faces on Saturday.

We are making our mark and letting the community know we are coming soon to bring them these refreshing and healthy drinks. We've raised $240 dollars in a week out of the $2,500 goal we set.
