this might be one of the best pieces on food/nutrition i've seen in quite some time. not only is it well written, but it avoids the fanatical approach of people in their own "diet camps" (like greger, clement, mcdougall, et al). this article aside, nutrition/diet, sadly, has effectively joined religion and politics as topics not to discuss openly. In an effort to eschew other diets, the aforementioned experts will often spin the data to satisfy their agendas, or, worse yet, state things that are simply untrue. i’ve caught them many times doing so, which truly weakens their credibility. a solidly grounded perspective such as this one by dr. hardick is a refreshing change.
