TEAM ALUMNI We are activating the @orangelutheranhs alumni community in partnership with the @olumissions program to make a meaningful, positive impact on the around us! Join #TeamAlumni each month as we work to serve needs not being met for local communities. For the month of September our community will be collecting new/unopened hygiene products for the families of @olive.crest. Swipe to see the items being collected.... Yesterday was the schedule graduation ceremony date for the Class of 2020. While it did not go as planned on this date, the newest batch of Lancer Alumni WILL walk across the stage ON CAMPUS in July and receive their diploma. This will be the first graduation on campus in years! So, last night we celebrated the end of the 2019-20 school year and took seniors on magical production in a drive down memory lane in the parking lot of the school. Teachers and staff cheered as the students drove by, with their very last stop being a warm welcome into the Lancer Alumni family by members of the Lancer Alumni Council. This week #TeamOLuAlumni supported @olumissions in helping collect 60 Care Baskets to @olive.crest Foster families experiencing distress as a result of COVID-19. The goal was to uplift these families by providing a meal basket or actives for the children. Lancer Alumni, you stepped up! You shared the posts, sent items via Amazon, dropped off your basket, and you let God do his work through you. Together with @olumissions @orangelutheranhs students, we dropped off over 80 BASKETS! Alumni doing great things! Pastor Matt Hemphill ‘08 @matt_m_hemphill of @newlifechurch_oc acquired a huge supply of toilet paper for the church to distribute for *FREE* to families that need it! Lancer alum Linny Marquez ‘06 joins fellow church-member and @orangelutheranhs events guru @sandrahemphill distributing outside @grocery_outlet in Tustin (Newport/Irvine Blvd.). They will be handing out toilet paper again tonight from 5-7pm if you need some! #sharingiscaring #lancers4life
