Would you eat laboratory-grown meat? I'm not talking about the bun or the gluten. Just a lab-grown meat. How do you feel about it?

I’m seeing more sleep issues, digestive issues, stress and hair loss in my practice these days. The risks to everyone’s health is compounded by the pandemic stress as well as smoke from the West Coast fires

And one month later my veggie tower is looking happy and promising. Looking forward to the fruits (veggies) of my labor

Experimenting with this Green Stack growing tower. The deck is the only place we have full sun in the back yard. Hoping for a bountiful harvest! It was very easy to put together. I’m glad I got the 4 tiered rather than the 5. It comes in 3 and 5 tiers also.

And the micro greens are growing beautifully! In a few days they will be joining me for lunch - no social distancing required!

I received my first order from #ThriveMarket yesterday. Really impressed by the service. If you are looking for healthy discounted non perishables that is the place! They also have meat/ fish/ poultry. I got everything I ordered without any mistakes. I’ve tried two other food deliveries since the pandemic started and was disappointed. I had to wait 4 hours on hold with Instacart to be credited for the $88.00 they over charged. I get that during a pandemic they should be forgiven. Of course mistakes are made. They are under immense pressure...Yet I’m happy to report that both ThriveMarket and GoldenGateOrganics (previous post) made no mistakes in my order!

Really pleased with the quality and service of Golden Gate Organics CSA. My first order was delivered yesterday. Exactly as ordered and all produce fresh and bountiful! I chose this company because they are fully customizable (I chose greens only), home delivery, and are local - here in Oakland. I wanted to support a local company with local farmers. They may not be the cheapest CSA but the quality was impressive and during these difficult times I’m going to put a premium on convenience (home delivery). Thank you #goldengateorganics If you’d like a link with a discount code PM me

I’ve been MIA from FB for months. The same from Instagram and other platforms. I’ve been busy. But excuses aside... Now with all this shitstorm I’m not so busy. Yet I’m still concerned with eating well regardless of the stress eating I’ve been doing lately. Oy! So I’ve contemplated sending an email to my mailing lists with immune boosting suggestions etc. But I’ve been MIA from email for a long time. So that felt wrong too. ... Besides, if you are like me you are getting dozens of emails with suggestions and links to buy stuff, as much as they may be helpful, I’m keeping track who is selling and who is just helping... Right? I’m not going to send out emails and I’m not going to share links to supplements. That said, if you have immune health supplements at home, this is the time to take them!!! And if you want to talk about what to take feel free to chat with me. I’m available so PM me. So I’m going to share my lunch creation. With my fresh veggies dwindling this is what I came up with: Red cabbage left over from last week, celery that had lots of brown spots and needed a bit of doctoring (see compost bin) one and a half leftover cucumber that had not yet spoiled and fresh parsley and chives from my garden. I’m allowed to go out to the garden right? Parsley and cabbage are high in vitamin C! We need lots of that these days. I let it sit for a while to soften a bit with some sea salt, lemon and ACV then had it for lunch with 1/2 can canned salmon mashed with 1/2 avocado and salt again. Maybe I’ll start posting more kitchen creations? I’ll see if any of you appreciate this post and decide based on that. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay home! Tamar

This is really helpful. Stay safe everyone!

This resonates with me...especially when people talk about healthy food and supplements, oh and exercise too

Another difficult choice - it’s not impossible to figure out the best option

You may soon see Impossible burgers for sale at your local grocery by the end of the week. One thing you won't find on Impossible packages: the Butterfly. Imp...ossible Burgers are a double whammy of GMOs, including the mysterious genetically engineered "heme" that makes the burger "bleed." Oh, and the plant-based burger itself? Made from GMO soy. If Impossible really wants to save the world from meat, let's start by going non-GMO. https://www.bloomberg.com//impossible-s-grocery-rollout-ge

Both the beef and the bean are great choices. The fake choice is unhealthy. Period

No time to shop for healthy food? I love Instacart for shopping at Coscto. What's in my cart from Costco? Almost everything I need to meal prep for the week. Organic greens, organic broccoli, pasture raised eggs, wild salmon, raw fermented sauerkraut, organic portabela mushroom, organic cauliflower rice, organic blueberries and much more!

These are very interesting. Some were completely new to me such as the use of glycine to detox the body from glyphosate.

You may have heard of 5G, it stands for fifth-generation cellular wireless. In a February 2019 US Senate hearing, the wireless industry was forced to admit they have no safety studies on 5G, and don't plan to do anything about it! Meanwhile, there are thousands of independent studies concluding that wireless radiation causes biological harm. Despite this, the wireless industry is working with government to deploy 5G -- it's a global, for-profit, human experiment... without o...ur consent. What does it mean? 5G is a higher frequency, therefore it travels shorter distances than our current wireless signals, therefore exponentially more transmission devices must be installed to provide connectivity -- millions more, in fact, on lamp posts, telephone poles and other "rights-of-way" for existing utilities. Each tower will emit radiation at levels known to cause cancer, sterility, DNA damage and other harm... especially to our children, who are most at risk. I though you should be aware in case you are not.
