A common problem with aging laterals is their decay in structural integrity, oftentimes resulting in malformation of the pipe's grade and C Factor (C Factor. A factor or value used to indicate the smoothness of the interior of a pipe). Typically, this is the inside of a pipe after it has been relined (CIPP - Cured-in-Place Pipe).
