Thank you everyone for a tremendous send-off. It was lovely to see everyone and to feel the "love." Thank you especially to Marcy Roke and Gary Zeugschmidt for ensuring the luncheon happened. Thank you everyone for my gift....I can definitely use the luggage!!! What a nice surprise. I will miss you all, but will see you again soon.
After 18 years, leaving Travelers Aid San Diego is bittersweet. I will miss everyone, staff, Board, and partners, but I am also excited to be taking on a new challenge. Both Travelers Aid in San Diego and Travelers Aid International are wonderful organizations that have tremendous impact both locally and internationally. I am blessed.
Travelers Aid San Diego is delighted to announce the appointment of Marcy Roke to the position of interim President & CEO. Marcy has worked as the Director of Development & Communications for Travelers Aid for the past 12+ years. She will take over the position on February 4, 2019 from Kathleen Baldwin, who is leaving her post to assume the position of President & CEO of Travelers Aid International in the Washington D.C. Metro area.
Charlyne Bryant, retired Operations Manager, surprised us with a visit yesterday. Lovely!!!!
The Travelers Aid International Board, including our local President, met in D.C. on October 19th.
Staff and Volunteer Drivers attended the San Diego County Driver Coalition Driver Training & Appreciation Event. Looks like a good time was had by all!
We are half way to our goal for Cynthia! Hopefully you can help us out. Any amount would be appreciated. Thanks for your consideration!
