Copied from a friend... DEPRESSION TIPS Shower. Not a bath, a shower. Use water as hot or cold as you like. You don’t even need to wash. Just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. Sit on the floor if you gotta.... Moisturize everything. Use whatever lotion you like. Unscented? Dollar store lotion? Fancy 48 hour lotion that makes you smell like a field of wildflowers? Use whatever you want, and use it all over your entire dermis. Put on clean, comfortable clothes. Put on your favorite underwear. Cute black lacy panties? Those ridiculous boxers you bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? Put them on. Drink cold water. Use ice. If you want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost. I always use lemon. Clean something. Doesn’t have to be anything big. Organize one drawer of a desk. Wash five dirty dishes. Do a load of laundry. Scrub the bathroom sink. Blast music. Listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. Sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both. Make food. Don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. Take the time and make food. Even if it’s ramen. Add something special to it, like a soft boiled egg or some veggies. Prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something. Make something. Write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. Even if you don’t think you’re good at it. Create. Go outside. Take a walk. Sit in the grass. Look at the clouds. Smell flowers. Put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin. Call someone. Call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. Talk to a stranger on the street. Have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. If you can’t bring yourself to call, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. Even if you don’t say much, listen to them. It helps. Cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. Take pictures of them. Talk to them. Tell them how you feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out, anything. May seem small or silly to some, but this list keeps people alive. *** At your absolute best you won’t be good enough for the wrong people. But at your worst, you’ll still be worth it to the right ones. Remember that. Keep holding on. *** In case nobody has told you today I love you and you are worth your weight and then some in gold, so be kind to yourself and most of all keep pushing on!!!! Find something to be grateful for! **copied and pasted, feel free to do the same**

During covid, many friends and clients have noted an over reliance on food, spending and risky behaviors to get their dopamine reward... Be cautious and use other dopamine rewards as well.

I am so incredibly excited about Friday's Permission to BE Powerful Interview! At 3:00 pm Pacific Time I will be interviewing Karen Renee Halseth This woman is a spiritual teacher of mine. Her wisdom is truly extraordinary! Her story is intense and powerful and her journey illuminates how overcoming trauma, allowing in spirit and learning to trust fully can truly change the trajectory of someone's life. In Karen's words: "I help individuals that realize they are a spiritual b...eing and are challenged to be able manage their energy and life, to thrive no matter what challenge arises. I had been on The Curvy Road to success without realizing it . I always felt I missed the piece that prepared you for a well-defined path. As I reflect I realize I was being guided in ways I could never have imagined. By saying YES to the next opportunity and having the courage to leave jobs, marriages, many times uprooting and moving to another state, finally, I have arrived just where I am now happier and on purpose. My life of abuse, addictions, failed marriages (I also hold it as successful divorces) depression and low self-esteem led me on a path of self-discovery 48 years ago. I now carry the wisdom from my life experience that allows me to assist others in breaking through their own difficulties. I am living proof that the circumstances of your past DO NOT have to define your future. Following careers in the Medical Office Management, Hotel Operations and Director of Day spas I began my entrepreneur journey in 2004.I am a Certified Life Coach and channel 8 Ascended Master Guides through my hands and my words. I am able to see clients at a soul level; as a result, clients receive in-the-moment, customized guidance that rapidly clears old, outdated energy blocks allowing them to enjoy the peace of mind living the life they came to live. " Whew!! You MUST come hear her speak LIVE. We are trying something new in my Facebook group. Live broadcasts have been hit and miss, so we are going to "attempt" to go live, but so that no one misses out on the experience, I am actually going to do this as a webinar that others can attend. You need to register for the event here https://women-of-impact-and-influence.mykajabi.com/permissi and then get into the Facebook group so that you can get the link to the webinar https://www.facebook.com/groups/permissiontobepowerfulwomenembracingvisibility. Remember, by registering you get onto the membership page where you can access free gifts from the speakers and contact information to find out more about them and their work in the world. See you soon! See more

I really feel like if I have been given these reframes for my behavior at an early age, I would have trusted my personal power and played big much earlier!

B...A....M!!!!!! Thank you Rani Rebecca Campbell! Such an important article. We are meant to feel IT ALL, fully. Recognizing all emotions are transient. Not bypassing what we feel it convincing ourselves that only "good" feelings are allowed.... Great read!
