It's was one of the largest wordpress rescue projects to date with over 100gb of digital assets and 3400+ multilingual blog articles. Now running on a multisite/localized Statamic install in Amazon Web Services protected by Cloudflare we leveraged our proven phased approach to stabilize, secure, design, migrate, & iterate. Fun project sharing story time: KAISER PERMANENTE pt. 4 In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, we created a series of inspirational videos, each representing a Community Health Need in the Southern California region. We chose four topics: economic security, access to care, mental health, and oral health.... Over the span of the project, we conducted numerous interviews from individuals within community organizations, people with personal stories, and members within the Kaiser Permanente organization. We scheduled and planned our filming days to be as compact and efficient as possible within the Los Angeles area. Fun project sharing story time: KAISER PERMANENTE pt. 3 We were asked to create an Overview Video that depicted the history, journey, and future plans of Kaiser Permanente. We instantly thought of an animated explainer video as the style. We began script writing and storyboarding, eager to start on another animated explainer (fun fact: our first animated explainer was our very own Our Promise video).... It mixes animation, vintage assets provided to us by Kaiser Permanente’s historian, and footage from the four supportive videos we created for Kaiser Permanente. Fun project sharing story time: KAISER PERMANENTE pt. 2 The first stage of this project involved refreshing the old Kaiser Permanente site (which we designed almost 7 years ago!). We dropped all the styles, optimized the user interface & content structure to better align with user behavior analytics that we gathered from the time the site has been live. Then we aligned the aesthetics to the new digital brand guidelines to help create a cohesive brand experience.... Also, based on those user behavior analytics from the past 7 years, we knew certain sections needed more attention and re-architecting. After research and planning, the sections where we spent a lot of focus on were the Inspirational Stories, Investment Summaries, and grantmaking.

This project included a refresh of their Southern California Communities Benefits website and a series of live action videos topped with an animated explainer overview video.... Over the next few days, we’ll share our process, dive into the details, and simply reminisce in the completion of this exciting project partnership with our good friends at Kaiser Permanente.
