Do you consider yourself a thought leader? 12 years ago when I started my coaching business the vision I had for my business was working with clients 1:1 and eventually leading workshops. ~ Working with clients around the world was not on my map (pun intended).... ~ Being location-independent was a foreign concept. ~ Leading groups and speaking to large audiences - that was for the famous, not for me. What does abundance have to do with shadow work? The theme for me this month has been letting go. As I watch relationships, things and energies around me slowly dissolve, a lot of grief comes up. ... What happened that brought me joy. What could have happened, but didn't. There is no emotion I have ever felt that is more intense than grief. Unless we numb or distract, the only way is through . Which brings me to the work that I do with my clients: In order to deepen our self-awareness, step into our power, embody presence, compassion and joy, and bring more love into our relationships, we need to be able to be with our losses and our grief. ~ The ways we knew ourselves to be. ~ The ways we hoped things would turn out, but didn't. ~ The parts of us that messed it all up. Grief opens our hearts as much as love does. We tend to run away from grief, hoping to stumble into love, but until we process the material that our soul brings to the surface, our capacity to love and receive love will inadvertently be limited. And with that, our ability to open up to abundance If you are wanting more money, more love, more serendipity, more aligned clients... there is no strategy that will make up for good old inner work. Have you ever taken a course where the information was all over the place visually or auditorily and it was hard to focus on the content? Have you ever been in conversation with someone who tells you what they do and you are super confused, but keep nodding away to be nice? These two (very different) scenarios are symptoms of brand confusion. ... The business owner has not decided what their core essence and message is, and has not taken the time to clean house before inviting in the guests. (Hey, sometimes we need professional cleaners, there's no shame in that!) That is why I have made Brand Development and Brand Strategy my jam. The benefit of doing the work to clearly define your brand is that YOU decide how you want to be perceived and how you want people to talk about you. Your brand is: The reason why a customer chooses you over someone who offers similar services, and why they keep coming back to you. The story people tell about you when you're not in the room.
