How is the Coronavirus affecting the Real Estate market on the Peninsula? I spend a lot of time analyzing markets so I can be sure to give you guys the best advice in the current marketplace. This week I pulled data up to March 10th, showing trends in all cities on Peninsula. 2019 was an odd year, with some prices dropping in some markets but ever so slightly. 2020 was heading into a strong market with pricing similar to 2018, with prices rising in most cities. I pulled this ...data the day before the coronavirus was declared a pandemic by the WHO, and I will try to update them monthly so you guys can stay on top of what is happening. As of this past weekend, buyers are out en masse thinking this is the time to buy with the low interest rates and unstable stock markets. Meaning it could also be an amazing time to sell, but as with everything right now we are monitoring it and only time will tell! It will take another 2-3 months to truly see how this will impact real estate sales as homes that in contract now or going in contract soon will take about a month to close.
