Here are a few key items to be aware of: Oct. 26-30th: Red Ribbon Week (Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free)... Monday: Wear Red Tuesday: Wear Your Favorite Sports Team Wednesday: Wear Neon Thursday: Superhero Day Friday: Picture Day! Oct. 30th: Picture Day! See attached flyer with details. Hybrid students will get their pictures taken during their school day on October 30th. Distance Learning students may get their pictures taken during the following two times on October 30th: 10:40am -11:20am 10:40 = Last name begins with A-G 10:50 = Last name begins with H-N 11:00 = Last name begins with O-Z 2:10pm - 3:10pm 2:10 = Last name begins with A-G 2:30 = Last name begins with H-N 2:50 = Last name begins with O-Z Oct. 31st is also the last day to order your yearbook through TreeRing with a 5% discount! Prices will go up after that. Nov. 2 - 15th: Virtual Book Fair! We are so excited to launch our Online Book Fair in just one week! The Book Fair will run from Nov. 2 - Nov. 15, and all purchases will directly benefit our school. This year's theme is Time Machine: Reading Can Take You Anywhere. Parent Teacher Conferences: Conferences will be held virtually on November 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 & 13 (Modified Days) The schedule for Parent Teacher Conference Week will be: Hybrid AM - 8:00-10:00 Hybrid PM - 11:00-1:00 Distance Learning and SAI classes - 8:00-1:00 Yearbook Discount: You may still purchase your 2020-21 yearbook with a 5% discount until Oct. 31st. Friendly reminder that we do have school on Monday, October 12th. Originally, it was a Staff Development Day that was moved to September 4th.... Oct. 14th: Chipotle Dine Out. Take a break from the kitchen while supporting our school! Please see attached flyer for details to place your order and help our school get credit. Thank you for your support! Oct. 15th: General PTA Meeting. Support your students and share your thoughts at our upcoming virtual PTA meeting at 3:00pm. Hello, Bulldogs! Our Bulldogs did a great job managing change last week with hybrid students returning to campus and distance learners adjusting schedules! Way to go! Here are a few key dates to be aware of:... Oct. 9th: Extended Reflections Deadline. Please have students turn into teachers or the Reflections Box at the front of school. Oct. 14th: Chipotle Dine Out. Take a break from the kitchen and support our Bulldogs at our upcoming Dine Out! Oct. 15th: PTA General Meeting at 3pm (via Zoom) Oct. 30th: Flag Ceremony Parent Podcast: As a parent, you want your child to be successful in school and life. You’re also busy and not always sure if you’re doing it right. That’s where we come in. We know you already have what it takes to coach your child’s learning. You just need a few tips, a few answers, and some good encouragement along the way. Our host, Dr. Erica Karr, uses her years of experience as an educator and now as a parent to bring you brief bites of advice to increase your confidence and successfully support your child’s learning. We’ll also connect with other experts and parents to help answer your questions. Fun At Home Activities!
