Lunch today at Harmony Kitchen.

St. Patrick's Day lunch. Corned beef , cabbage and potatoes, applesauce w/ cinnamon and apple pieces and salad.

On April 5th. we will be returning to sit down lunches now that we are in level red. We are able have 20 clients at a time.

Christmas dinner at harmony Kitchen. We served ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, candied yams, green beans, fruit and green salads ad pie.

Thank you to all of the volunteers at Harmony Kitchen that helped with the Christmas dinner; Jim, Judy, Lauri, Mike, George, Hector and Frankie.

Harmony Kitchen will have our Christmas dinner on December 23rd at 10:00. We will be closed December 24th and 25th.We will be open Monday through Thursday the following week. We will close New Years Day. We will resume our regular schedule on January 4th.

Harmony Kitchen its board and clients thanks; Daughters of the American Revolution, VFW Auxillary, Saddle Stompers, Barnes and Berger, California Women of Agric...ulture, P V FFA, 4H club, Ironwood State Prison, Prime Leaf, Modern Woodsmen and all of the individuals that dropped off turkeys and other items. Thank you to individuals and Churches that make monthly donations throughout the year. We look forward to assisting those in need in the upcoming year. Thank you to Albertson's they make food donations twice a week through their Fresh Rescue program Without our volunteers we would not be able to provide this service. Our Thanksgiving dinner was today. The clients could have their meal to go or eat it here outdoors. We served around 50 plates. Again thanks to the volunteers that make it happen.

Thanks to volunteers stepping up, Harmony kitchen will be able to return serving a meal 5 days a week. This will start Monday November 2nd. Meals are served from 10:00 - 11:00. We will extend the time if needed to get everyone served.

Starting at 3;30 pm before and during the parade we will have our regular items plus cotton candy and seasonal and holiday items. Location is downstairs from the Elks 240 W. Hobsonway.

Harmony Kitchen will be holding our Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday November 24th starting at 10:00am. We are planning to hold it in the dining room. If not the tables will be set up in the parking lot on the northside of the building. Any spacing protocol will be observed.

We will have to return to serving to go meals while we are forced back to Purple. this will start tomorrow Friday October 23rd. The hours will remain the same.

Tomorrow thanks to the dedication of Jim and Judy Lowe, Frank Daniel and Ginger Bevins Jeffries we are able to start our 8th month of an all volunteer program.... No one receives a salary at the Kitchen. That means all donations go into the program either for food, supplies or paying bills to continue to serve those in need. See more

Finished the Food Service Manager and take out courses today. We are in compliance with the recent visit to the Kitchen.

Harmony Kitchen is looking for volunteers to assist with serving meals. We serve from 10:00 until 11:00 normally. If you need something to do between 9:45 and 1...1:15 stop by ask for Garry Bolding. We are serving Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We would like to go back to 5 days a week if possible. See more

Harmony Kitchen is planning to return to dine-in on Monday. All mandated restrictions will be observed. our 25% capacity is 14. We should be able to handle the seating based on the last 2 months. Only those with proper documentation will be able to continue take out.

This month we are looking at the upgrades in the serving counter. We went from old 12 foot base counter wit a 3 pan steam table to a 4 pan steam table and an 8 foot stainless steel table and shelf. Made possible with Elks Impact Grants.

Early Thanksgiving today will add stuffing and candied yams for the real thing.

I was going through photos for a progress report for NextEra Grant. What a difference in the Kitchen from 5 years ago. I will be sharing some of them over the next couple months. we'll finish off with the holiday dinners and possible options for this year if restrictions continues.

On June 29th Harmony Kitchen starts its summer schedule. We will be closed the first week of July, August and September. The dates will be June 29th reopen July 6th, August 3rd reopen August 10th and August 31st reopen September 8th.

Blythe Elks # 1799 uses their Gratitude Grant to purchase items to convert Harmony Kitchen from a " sit down " dining room to a "to go " only lunch program.The ...remainder will be used to purchase additional meat and produce items. We don't just hand over a check. i go by to the different programs and have them make me a prioritized list. We purchase items on the list as far down as we can. i have been doing this for all of the lodge's Grants over the past 6 years. See more
