Traffic Advisory Update: Shiloh Road Left Turn Interim Improvements Project Update: Striping and channelizer removal is scheduled for Saturday 2/27 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Concrete median construction will begin next week once availability is confirmed by the Contractor. The Shiloh Road Left Turn Interim Improvements Project is scheduled to begin on 2/27/2021 and last up to 7 weeks. The intersection of Shiloh Road and Caletti Avenue as well as the US 101 Sou...th onramp on Shiloh Road may experience traffic delays during construction. The project will replace surface mounted channelizers with a new concrete center median and lengthen the left turn pocket for vehicles traveling westbound on Shiloh Road. A new Green Bike Lane will be installed through the intersection for eastbound cyclists. At this time, all normal traffic movements will be allowed and access through the intersection and to the southbound freeway onramp will be maintained. We understand that outdoor programs can be impacted by weather during this time, but we will reschedule any class that is cancelled until you get the full amount of classes. This program will follow all county health regulations surrounding COVID-19. Spec tennis, like tennis, but on a smaller court with a slower ball and a paddle, is easier to learn than tennis. Students... are able to rally sooner, which leads to more fun and less dropout than regular tennis! Windsor River Road/Windsor Road Intersection Improvements Tree Removal: In preparation for the upcoming roundabout construction in Spring 2021, tree removal is required prior to the bird nesting season. Six street trees on the northeast section of the intersection, one tree on Windsor River Road, and a cluster of trees fronting the Windsor Service Alliance pantry will be removed. Tree removal is scheduled for January 12 and 13, 2021. There will be no full-road closures but occasional lane closures may be required. The roundabout construction includes a landscaping plan to install nine new 36-inch box street trees and over 700 smaller plants and shrubs.

According to the Press Democrat, 506 firefighter agencies came from across the United States to help during the Kincade Fire. | - On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the evacuation order was lifted and Windsor residents were allowed home for the first time in five days. Town Councilmembers, Town Emergency Management staff, and our firefighter heroes were happy and honored to greet residents as they returned to town. Despite returning to burned gardens and trees, damaged fencing, smoke odor, ash-covered ground, a...nd no natural gas service, most residents were never so happy to be back home in the town they love. --- --- El miércoles 30 de octubre de 2019, se levantó la orden de evacuación y se permitió que los residentes de Windsor regresaran a casa por primera vez en cinco días. Los miembros del Concejo Municipal, el personal de Administración de Emergencias de la Ciudad y nuestros héroes bomberos estaban felices y honrados de recibir a los residentes cuando regresaban a la ciudad.
