Tour de Manure / Sierra Valley Metric Century

TOUR DE MANURE 2021 CANCELLED! Out of an abundance of caution, and with the input of our local health department, we have once again decided to forgo the 2021 Tour de Manure metric century ride in Sierra Valley: [email protected] HOWEVER! We encourage all of our wonderful supporters to consider coming out to the spectacular Sierra Valley to ride any of the beautiful roads that are part of the Tour de Manure route. Please email us a photo of your experience for our TdM ...Facebook page so we can at least continue to post photos of great scenic rides. If you were planning to donate to our fire department for the Tour, we would like to ask you to instead please give to someone in need, your favorite cause or charity. Meanwhile, please rest assured that we will forge ahead with BIG PLANS FOR 2022, for one amazing ride, a mouth-watering BBQ meal, and a foot-tapping hootenanny that will put this COVID far into the rear-view mirror. Were it not for Covid-19, this spectacular morning would have seen a bevy of volunteers scrambling to park cars, pump up tires, hand out t-shirts, and welcome 500+ bicycle riders to the 12th Annual Tour de Manure. What a day it would have been, with calm winds, 80 degree temperatures, and the Sierra Valley showing off its early summer splendor. Alas, we can only sigh and direct our energies toward June 19, 2021. We’ll be back! Thanks for supporting us!

Sadly, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Tour de Manure. With the predicted slow spread of the Corona-19 virus, and ongoing social distancing guidelines becoming the norm for the foreseeable future, it was decided that the prudent course of action was to put the health of our community and participants first. We want to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers, and let you know that plans for next year’s Tour de Manure are already going forward. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, June 19th, 2021!
