If the idea of experiencing gum grafting pain is stopping you from undergoing the procedure, you can talk to your oral and facial surgeon about sedation options that may be suitable for you. https://www.torreyhillsperio.com//three-important-facts-a/
Today, we honor those who gave their lives for our country. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice of our fallen heroes. We also want to thank those who continue to put their life on the line to protect this country. We wish you and your loved ones a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!
This deep-cleaning procedure also helps remove any bacteria in the mouth, which is important to one's overall oral and general health. https://www.torreyhillsperio.com//why-do-i-need-scaling-a/
We’re making sure to take the time to show the mothers and maternal figures in our lives that we love, cherish, and appreciate them. We hope you’re doing the same! Enjoy this day with your loved ones!

Our team at Torrey Hills Periodontal Group wants to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our business through these exceptional times and let you know that we are so grateful to be a part of your life and community.
Our entire team was vaccinated yesterday! Thank you to our fellow health care front line workers for working so quickly and tirelessly to implement this extraordinary undertaking! Feeling grateful!
It is with heavy hearts that our team shares with you that Laurie, our much beloved Office Manager/Team Leader/Treatment Coordinator has passed away. Laurie was with us at our practice for 3-years. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and fought her battle to live each day with a positive attitude. Her strong determination and amazing energy and spirit allowed her to continue to work at the job she loved as long as she could with her ever present charming smile and laugh. She will remain in our hearts forever. She is sorely missed. Rest in Peace our dear friend.
For the implant restoration to be successful, the implant post must be fully stable inside the bone so that it can support the tooth affixed to it properly. https://www.torreyhillsperio.com//dental-implant-faq-what/
Last night Dr. Brad Hunt hosted our year-end ITI North Coastal San Diego Study Club. Dr. Steven Goldstein was our presenter on the topic of Options for Aesthetics and Patient Expectations. Our study club discusses cases and provides a multi-specialty group approach in the area of orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics with our laboratory partner. Thank you for a great evening of continuing education!

From your favorite hygienist Christine...
Due to the recommendations from the President, American Dental Association and the California Dental Association we have updated our offices hours and protocols to keep our patients and community safe. Effective through April 30th, our office hours will change for emergency/essential treatment only. One of our team members will be in the office Monday to Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm. Our goal is to help keep our patients healthy, keep dental patients out of emergency rooms so th...at doctors can keep their spaces open for Coronavirus cases, and minimize the potential risk to our patients and staff. We will continue to communicate to our team and patients regarding our plan to return to normal business hours. Appointments will be rescheduled to May along with additional hours on Wednesdays. We will be open based on the need to accommodate our patients in a timely manner once we return to normal schedule. Our practice has always followed the strictest protocols regarding infection control in our periodontal practice. During this time, we have increased our disinfecting protocol for waiting rooms and patient areas. Patients will be asked to utilize a virtual waiting room by calling the office upon arrival. They will be taken directly to a room and our lobby will remain empty to prevent any unnecessary contact. We have limited team members at this time and will only see one patient at a time to minimize risk. Patients will be screened via phone and those who are experiencing symptoms will not be seen. Upon arrival, we will take temperatures to make sure that those that we see are not any infection. We have phone lines open to handle your dental concerns until our schedule returns to normal. We will do our best to accommodate you and ensure that you stay healthy and pain free! For dental pain, please contact the office at (858) 259-1168 or after-hours Dr. Hunt can be contacted at (858) 229-4916. We appreciate your patience as we manage this unprecedented time. Our goal is to keep our patients safe and healthy. We are in this together! We look forward to serving you again
Hello everyone, hope you're all well. We will be here in the office in case of an emergency, so don't hesitate to call. Stay safe.
