Torrance Transit is expanding its coverage and improving its service in June/July 2021 timeframe. It is currently in the process of taking over the western half of the Metro's Line 130 from Artesia Station to the Redondo Beach Pier via South Bay Galleria. We are seeking input from our riders and the public regarding their needs, priorities and issues. Please attend one of the five virtual meetings. Torrance Transit will resume its regularly scheduled service starting October 11, 2020. The State and Los Angeles County Guidelines for social distancing will still be enforced. All passengers must wear a face-covering while riding a Torrance Transit bus, and must use the designated seating. Torrance Transit is presently not charging our patrons, but may resume charging fares in the future. Everyone must board and alight from the rear door. Torrance Transit participated in "Sound The Horn" Day by honking the horns on its buses to honor all transit heroes across the country.
Due to a traffic blockage in Downtown Los Angeles, remaining Line 4X southbound trips will be originating at Grand Avenue and 3rd Street until further notice. Please use the Metro Red/Purple Lines to make a connection to the 4X at Flower and 7th Street.
Reminder: For our bus operators and customers' safety, please use the rear door to enter and exit the bus. All rides are FREE.
For yours and other customers' safety, all passengers MUST wear a face mask during their ride on a Torrance Transit bus.
Torrance Transit wishes for everyone's safety. In order to control the spread of Coronavirus, please maintain social distancing, and maintain excellent level of hygiene. We request our passengers to stay home if the have cough, fever or flu like symptoms.
For the safety of our passengers and the bus drivers, Torrance Transit is running FREE bus services. All passengers must board from the rear door. Only those passengers with wheelchair needs are allowed to board from the front door. For your safety, our team members disinfect the buses throughout the day. We are still running Saturday service Monday thru Friday with Lines 4X and 6 during peak hours.
