Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Baseball Moms! This was sent to us by an amazing coach that has truly invested his time and energy into our youth and we just had to share with everyone.

Toro Baseball Family As you know, the Covid-19 pandemic has caused the world to stop in its tracks as countries are taking unprecedented measures to ensure the safety of its people. This is a serious matter impacting everyone, and Toro Baseball will treat it as such. The safety of our children, coaches, parents and volunteers is our chief concern during this time. After careful consideration and consulting with the Regional Pony Director -- effective immediately (March 1...3, 2020) -- Toro Baseball will be suspending all league operations through April 6th, at which time the executive board will meet to discuss how best to move forward this season. This includes practices, games & pick-up games. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our families, but given the gravity of the situation, we ask that you respect the league’s decision to temporarily suspend play. There is nothing we want more than to resume play this season so our kids can experience the joy of playing the great game of baseball. Any updates regarding this matter will come directly from the league via email. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. We kindly ask that all questions and concerns be addressed directly with our President Joey Antonetti. https://www.pony.org/Default.aspx Warm Regards, Toro Pony Baseball

Good Evening Toro Pony Families, This email is to notify everyone that the 2020 baseball season is officially cancelled. We held out as long as we could for all of the players, coaches and parents that wanted to have some kind of season, but ultimately the decision was made for us by local and government officials. It saddens us to have to send this email, but we know the 2021 season will be here before you know it. As a league, we will use the off-season to educate ourselve...s regarding new regulations and protocols for organized youth sports. We look forward to resuming baseball in 2021. -Toro Pony Baseball

Good Afternoon Toro Pony Families, First and foremost, we hope this email finds you well and everyone is making the best of the current situation we are all in. As you may already know, school closures have been extended through May 1st and are expected to resume Monday May 4th. At this time, Toro Pony Baseball will also be extending the season suspension. Toro board members will revisit the topic in late April to discuss extending the suspension, resuming the season, or canc...elling the season entirely. We do not have any additional info or details at this time. Please continue to work with your players at home. There are many indoor/backyard exercises and drills you can do as a family to keep them active while practicing social distancing and complying with the shelter in place order. We will continue to keep everyone updated and informed on any changes as time passes. Take care and stay safe
