For Good Deeds Day, the Torah High senior class will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with Adat Yeshurun and the American Red Cross on Sunday, March 29th at Adat Yeshurun from 9:00 am 3:00 pm. Adat Yeshurun is located at: 8625 La Jolla Scenic Drive N, La Jolla, CA 92037. All donors must be at least 16 years old and will need to bring a hard copy of a signed waiver and picture ID to donate. Any donors who are 16 years old must have parental consent to donate and have ...the hard copy of the waiver signed by a parent. If donors are 17 years old or older, they do not need parental consent but will still need a picture ID and to sign a waiver. (Please email the school for a waiver: [email protected].) If you would like to participate, there are two steps that donors need to follow: 1) For TEENS only - The representatives at Motiv (the organization that has facilitated Good Deeds Day) have asked that any TEEN who is participating register NOW for the event at: https://motivsandiego.org/app/project/CZcviQnN92at3fGWE Please note, if you do not have a Motiv account, you will need to create an account before being able to sign up. They are promising shirts and fun swag for all registered participants. 2) For ALL donors - The American Red Cross is also encouraging ALL blood donors (not just teens) to sign-up ahead of time. Donors can sign-up ahead of time by going to: RedCrossBlood.org, use sponsor code: Torah, and then hit search. This will allow you to choose a time to donate.
