Two fun things coming in January!

Fractured Fairy Tales: Radio Plays Adapted & Directed by Gwendolyn Kudra Billings Casting call! (Ages 10-18, grouped preteen & teen)... What is it? Star in fantastical & farcical radio-plays based on the classic "Fractured Fairy Tales" cartoons from Jay Ward productions. With real sound effects, parodied commercials, & whimsical narratives, these five-minute modernized fables re-imagine the creativity, collaboration, & fun of bygone theatrical radio in a way that brings all ages together for a bit of goofy storytelling. Performer input & creativity will be encouraged! Foley artists wanted for sound effects & commercials as well. To be virtually auditioned, rehearsed, & performed (rehearsals will be over Zoom, days TBD, & the performances recorded & shared as audio links for family & friends) Interested? Record a video no longer than 1 minute to show off your vocal talents! Do impressions, read a story aloud, or simply introduce yourself & tell us why you want to join the fun. Choose one of these options, making them as simple, dramatic, or goofy as you’d like & send to Karen Cooke at [email protected] by January 11th, 2021.
