Christian doctrine has a twofold object. The primary object of doctrine is God; the secondary object is all things in relation to God. Doctrine teaches us to see God as the one from whom and through whom and to whom all things exist, and doctrine directs our lives to this God’s glory (Rom. 11:36; 1 Cor. 8:6). SO.... if the doctrine you have first places you, your wants and needs as the primary object and secondly emphasizes that all things are in relation to you, including Go...d ..... .... then what you have a false doctrine! 1. Gods doctrine represents Himself and His children agree with it! 2. Mans doctrine represents himself and God disagrees with it! Chew on this and I pray God make clear what each of you are following. I also pray God keep us here at Pathway Family Church from ever straying from giving Him the attention and glory as many of Gods people have in the past. In the end Romans 3:4 rings loud... let God be true and every man a liar. #power

I deeply pray for you that this encourage you to want God to show himself to you in a greater measure! After being awakened by the Holy Spirit this morning I heard a gentle voice say 1 Kings 13. What followed was a stirring in my heart that said read it and believe it as it is. Immediately I knew, not because I knew, but because the Father put it in me to know that what He was going to show me is pivotal to the next season of my life. After reading the chapter al...l I can say is this... I have a deeper reverent fear coupled with an increased faith that the God I serve is in total control! He alone says what will be and it happens. He has left man to focus on their choice in the matter but truly the only choice that matters is the choice the Father makes. This takes complete surrender and dependency to trust that God has accounted for everything. Secondly the Lord has impressed on me over the last few weeks to NOT lean on hypotheticals! He says do everything unto me and seek me in all things. This is a secret that every child of God, especially leaders, if privileged to be drawn to this awareness will find that God gives and takes away. Staying focused only on what’s at hand and no longer looking to tomorrow. Even if God gives revelation of the future that it’s only to intensify the focus of today! Father I thank you for what you’re doing and I pray for your divine guidance all the days of my life! In the name of Christ Jesus! Amen!
