I’ll be doing a Japanese Jujutsu clinic at the UFC in Torrance, CA. at 4pm this Saturday (July 13th). We wear white Gi’s. Traditionally, the white Gi means, we’re all the same. Rich or poor, all will meet on the mat without their finances to assist them accordingly. Osu!

October 1, 1913. Birthday of a great grand master; Helio Gracie. It was a pleasure to have met this man on a few different occasions. He and his brother helped revolutionize Jujitsu. Even though it's been around for about 2000 years. In Japan, it almost was forgotten because of laws during the Meiji restoration. Helio gave birth to a legitimate new style and breath of fresh air to the martial arts world. Much respect. Osu

I know a lot of you white belts are complaining about communication lately from the instructors so, to make sure it's here on FB for you to see. There's no class Monday night of Labor Day. I'll work on the rest next week. If we have to restructure we will. I guarantee I'll make sure your training will continue properly.

Switching to Monday nights at 7:30pm has really been amazing! A lot more people showing up for class lately. Keep it up, keep consistent. Black & Brown belts will be training separately; so bring your sparring equipment.

Kids class was good last night. Everyone grappled for 40 minutes straight, pushing themselves to exhaustion. It's one of the ways to imitate what happens in real life in a couple minutes. Our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls; pushed when there's nothing left in your fuel tank.
