Hi, I am Tyrla Woods. I am the owner of T L Spa & Wellness in San Diego CA. I have been a licensed esthetician for 20 years & have been using MSB in my practice for over a year. I love using MSB in my treatment room & also highly recommend my clients use it at home.

Self care is so important to stay physically and mentally healthy. Taking a couple minutes each day to care for yourself is an important practice to get into. The best thing about self care is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Some of my favorite self care tricks... Take a relaxing bath with candles. Give myself a home facial. Meditate for 10 minutes. Go for a walk around the neighborhood.... Put on a facial mask while cooking or doing dishes. Stretching before bed. Consciously do deep breathing for 5 minutes with some essential oils. Simple daily self care acts will help reduce stress and keep you healthier and happier. See more

Even though 2020 is finally behind us there is currently still a lot of uncertainty and stress. Interrupted sleep and lack of quality sleep negatively effect our health. Sleepless nights can definitely show signs on our skin with dark under eye circles and dull complexion. One of my goals for 2021 is to get better quality sleep each night. Here are some of my tricks to help you get a more restful sleep. No screen time 60 minutes before bed.... Drink herbal tea (no caffeine). Take a warm bath/shower, turn off the lights and light some candles. Use calming essential oils such as lavender, bergamot, patchouli or neroli in a diffuser or simply a drop in your hands and take a few deep breath’s when climbing into bed. Do a 10 minute meditation with mindful deep breaths allowing your mind and body to relax. Wishing you restful and restorative sleep this year. As I prepare for reopening number two in 2020, I needed to display my license renewal. As I was reframing this little piece of paper I was struck by how much it means to me. Being a licensed esthetician for almost 20 years has been such a wonderful journey. This piece of paper has brought me more joy than I ever could have imagined 20 years ago. I am so thankful that this piece of paper allows me to help people look beautiful, feel beautiful, help them to destress and touch their lives in a positive way. Being a licensed esthetician has allowed me to open my own spa, do the work I love, support my family, and brought clients into my life that are like family and have touched my heart forever. This piece of paper expires August 31, 2022. I can’t wait to give it love and gratitude when I replace it with its renewal.
