The National Sports Law Negotiation Competition will be moving online (via Zoom) for the October 9 - October 11, 2020 competition, in light of Covid-19 concerns. There are still a few open spots. Registration will reopen for those spots on August 3, 2020.

The National Sports Law Negotiation Competition will be taking place March 28-29, 2020. In response to questions regarding possible cancellation due to the coronavirus outbreak, we understand that some other competitions have been cancelled or moved to on-line status. We are in regular contact with the San Diego County Health Department and monitoring the situation more broadly. Given the size of our school and the competition itself, as well as the situation in San Diego gen...erally, sufficient justification to postpone the competition does not exist at this time. Given the amount of work that the competitors and organizers have already put into preparing for this competition, we do not want to cancel unless a reliable public health source advises us to take that route. With that said, we have already taken preliminary steps to ensure that participants can readily take the precautions that are being recommended for everyone.
