Remote work has allowed me to explore new areas that I wouldn’t have been able to before. Life can change at any moment, and C19 is a perfect example of this. The way of life and what was "normal" to us is no longer the same and we will start to see the new norm take shape. Because of remote work, it has allowed me to also take more trips out of state and explore new areas that I previously wouldn't have been able to before. My friends and I recently made the drive from Cal...ifornia to Montana. It was a hefty trek, but along the way we appreciated just how much our world has to offer. Finding the time to explore the exhilarating backroads of the Angeles Crest Highway with my E85 lovin’ Subaru Impreza. Looking back at our last spirited drive up the Angeles Crest Highway seems like a dream. I still remember the cold mountain air rushing through my windows as we climbed the winding roads turning from one apex to another, shifting through my gears. Knowing that I was fully fueled with the most reliable E85 from Propel I was able to have the confidence that m...y motor would have zero issues. Sometimes it’s good to have no destination...just going where the road takes me. We all know it is not easy to get around during COVID-19. After 8 months with a dead motor, a shop in Rohnert Park was able to put in a new one in my 2015 Ram 4500 Longbed - yea it’s 14 feet! The Str88ch is finally alive again! My first stop was to the Propel station in Oakland. With a full tank, I decided to just go for a drive. This drive had no particular destination. It just felt exhilarati...ng to be behind the wheel, shifting the gears in my six speed manual. I could’ve easily driven across the state if I had the time. To keep our customers and employees safe, we’ve changed some of our policies and adopted better practices to deal with C19. Since people are shifting from flying to driving, they’re bringing their trucks in for upgrades, basi...c services and inspections to make sure their trucks are running smoothly to get to those destinations. Everyone seems to be jumping head first to the outdoors, including my family and I.
