We are very sad to announce that The Vertitude LA will be canceling all group classes beginning March 16 and expected to last through Appx April 19 as ordered by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and California Governor Gavin Newsome, to help alleviate the spread of COVID-19. Memberships will be placed on hold for the duration of the mandate and class packs will be extended upon expiration if needed. Donations can be made through our online store. Visit www.thevertitude.com for... up to date info and link to donate. We will also be looking into online offerings. Private lessons / Skype lessons will also be available upon request. Contact [email protected] or text us at (818) 245-5262 to make an appointment or book a private lesson. Private studio rental may be available as well. Inquire if interested. The studio will be spot cleaned and sanitized between any uses. Aerial fabrics will be single use and retired to be washed. This may limit the availability of specific apparatuses. We’d like to address the ongoing situation with coronavirus. According to the most recent information from the Los Angeles County health department: There is no immediate threat to the general public and no special precautions are required. You are encouraged to engage in your regular activities and practice good public health hygiene. The Vertitude will continue business as usual. And, as always, we encourage everyday prevention of illness. Everyday personal prevention act...ions include: - Stay home when you are sick. Stay home for at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever or a symptoms of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medicines. - Wash your hands often, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. - Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, and then dispose of the tissue and clean your hands immediately. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands). - Limit close contact with people who are sick. - Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
