The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously in support of the PLUM Committee’s recommendation from last week to approve our project. Finally, this brings the long City process to an official end. This is huge. Our project is now fully entitled by the City of Los Angeles! We truly can’t thank you enough for your consistent support of this project over the years. The voices of locals like you, through your letters and spoken testimony at SO many hearings, were critical in le...tting decision-makers know that Venetians want this project to be a reality. We’ve said it numerous times because it’s so true. What we may not have told you enough is that your support was also crucially important in keeping me and the team going. Having your passion and energy behind us, and all of your encouragement along the way, gave us the strength and confidence to keep fighting this fight. Thank you. We do have a bit further to go. We anticipate continuing the process in front of the California Coastal Commission in the coming months, and we will keep you posted as we know more. For now, please know how grateful we are for you. And please have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season. We wish you and yours, our community, our country and our planet a much better 2021, including an in-person celebration and appreciation when it is safe to do so.
