Our TK class worked together to become published authors! After completing the publishing process, they received news that they’re semi-finalists in the National Book Challenge! The Valley School Community would like to extend its sincerest condolences to the family of former principal, Richard Dick Stanford. Mr. Stanford was born on November 19, 1934, and he passed away in his home in Georgia on May 29, 2020. A former LAPD officer, Mr. Stanford served as Valley School’s principal from 1967-1998. He is survived by his wife, Dru (whom he met while they were both working at Valley), and his three children. Mr. Stanford’s legacy will continue to live on at Valley School, where his memory will be honored. Rest In Peace, Mr. Stanford.
