Just a reminder that #MVWSD Measure T bond construction safety/operational efficiency projects are underway. Some portions of our school campuses are off-limits this summer, with the exception of Monta Loma Elementary, which is hosting our summer school programs. Depending on the school site, construction may be happening on the blacktop, in parking lots, and around the perimeter of campus. This summer, the District Office (1400 Montecito Ave.) is open for business Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. today through July 23. Starting July 26, the District Office is open Monday through Friday.

#MVWSD and El Camino Health will be hosting free COVID vaccinations at Monta Loma (June 17) and Jose Antonio Vargas (June 24) for all community members 12 and older. Walk-ins are welcome (no appointment required). Vaccine dose #2 (Pfizer) will also be available for those who have already received their first dose. Join us:... Do you want to increase your access to local affordable housing through the Section 8 Program? Interested households can now sign-up using SCCHA’s new online Applicant Portal.
