Social distancing client visits. As I am still out conducting essential real estate business, I’ve been driving by client homes & wanted to be able to say a quick hello. Taking the time to capture a few of their quarantine lives & help them document the way we are living in our homes at this point in history was icing on the cake! Forget the gloves & masks How do you legally protect yourself as a home buyer through Covid-19? Easy there’s a new Coronavirus form that came out! The form:... 1- Allows buyers & sellers to agree to postpone a home’s closing date through all of this. 2- Allows a buyer to cancel if loss of a job occurs due to coronavirus while going through escrow. 3-Allows buyers + sellers to agree to mutually cancel an agreement due to coronavirus. 4- Allows for us to ask for extensions of inspections and appraisal periods if certain obligations cannot be fulfilled due to coronavirus. Between virtual tours, low interest rates, and a new coronavirus addendum form, buyers are still buying homes. And me? I’m staying AWAY from people while staying ON TOP of my transactions. HOME TIP THURSDAY::: Dont forget, Your home's exterior should be painted every 5-10 years? And BEFORE you start painting, get your home’s exterior in tip top shape! Treat mold & insects. Replace any rotten wood.... Repair cracks & holes in stucco or similar finishes. Power wash the exterior.
