San Luis Obispo County communities held a variety of events to honor Veterans Day on Wednesday, despite challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. The groups joined together to honor 12 veterans at The Oaks at Nipomo.

We had a high school senior, Hailey, from New Tech in Nipomo who wrote our residents cards and letters. We wanted to give her acknowledgement and a big thank you! She definitely put a smile on the residents faces and at least a twinkle in the eye.
