I would say my signature dish would be my famous Briscuit and short beef ribs Question: Where were you born, share an interesting tidbit about your place of birth? Answer: I was in born in Fiji. The people of Fiji are some of the warmest and most welcoming in the world which regularly surprises visitors to the nation. The residents warmly greet people they come into contact with regardless of whether or not they know each other. Fijian culture places a huge emphasis on friendship which is the main reason the residents are so welcoming to foreigners. The warm nature of the Fijians is one of the reasons the nation has a large tourism sector. Question: Share something unique that we may not know about you (talent, quirks, skills, awards, ect). Answer: I love music, dancing and singing Question: Share a text or a song that has gotten you through a tough time? Answer: Psalm 34 sung by Tabernacle choir If earth has a choir that sounds like this, I can’t imagine what heaven sounds like. It’s like I'm in heaven. This song gives me peace. I sought the Lord And He answered me and delivered me from every fear Those who look on him are radiant, they'll never be ashamed This poor man cried and the Lord heard me and saved me from my enemies The son of God Surrounds his saints He will deliver me Magnify the lord with me Come exalt his name together Glorify the lord with me Come exalt his name forever Oh taste and see that the lord is good Oh blessed is he Who hides in him Oh fear the Lord Oh all you saints He'll give you everything Question: Share one defining moment /experience that impacted your life? Answer: Becoming a mom and starting a family. When I look back over my life, I can see, God has brought me a long way. I am excited to continue the journey with Jesus on my side and leading me through the way in every aspect of life.

New Orleans is world-renowned for its distinct music, Creole cuisine, unique dialect, and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture and vibrant nightlife along Bourbon Street. Question: Share something unique that we may not know about you (talent, quirks, skills, awards, ect). Answer: I enjoy swimming and traveling. Have been married to the love of my life for 57 years. I worked at C & H sugar refinery for 32 years and have been retired for 22 years. I love oldies music. Question: Share a text or a song that has gotten you through a tough time? Answer: My favorite bible chapter is Psalms 23. God has continually shown His grace upon me. Question: Share one defining moment /experience that impacted your life? Answer: One of my defining moments was my long bout with cancer. This journey taught me to trust God without question. I have been cancer free for over 25 years. Praise be to God.
