Join us! Kids are welcome! Team Norah: it’s time for our annual participation in Anew Days Random Acts of Kindness Event. The event date is Saturday, October 5th and this year we will be freshening up Pioneer Park (clearing brush, planting new flowers, painting benches, etc). A few days after Michael turned 4 his family was informed he had neuroblastoma cancer. The Norah foundation is dedicated to take care of this family as they travel back-and-forth from UCSF and Placerville for Michael’s chemo treatments. We will also make sure Michael is well equipped with activities and toys to keep his mind off of his chemo treatments as much as we can. Thank you to everyone who has donated to help this family! Team Norah our friends need your love & support as they received some very bad news last night. Doctors think their little guy Micheal who turned 4 this week, has neuroblastoma (a type of cancer). Due to a very large tumor they found in his tummy this week, Michael is at high risk. The chance of a successful remission is only 2/3, and his age doesn’t help (this type of cancer is more common in infants and the success is better with under 18 months old). Please pray for litt...le Michael as he will have to undergo hard chemo, surgery and possibly radiation. The Norah Foundation was able to take Michael some new toy trucks today and we will continue to support this family as they may have a rough road ahead of them. The Norah Foundation wants to say a huge thank you to the Girl Scouts Heart of Central California, Troop #1199! These little ladies raised money to put together care packages for families in the NICU! They also donated a box of Girl Scout cookies that will go to the nurses & staff taking care of these sweet babies! Team Norah: Meet sweet baby Oliver! This precious little friend of ours was born with a heart defect and is headed into surgery on Tuesday morning. The Norah Foundation is supporting his family with a hotel stay close to the hospital and meals for the week. They’ve got a long road ahead and we will be here loving on them throughout their journey. Send love!
