In a quaint little town in the Sierra Foothills of California there are over 25 winery tasting rooms in a short span. Murphys is high on the mountains in Calave...ras County of Highway 4 where it’s very cold and snowy in the winter and hot and humid in the summer but a very cute little town that’s great to visit. Aside from all the wine there some great restaurants and bar & grills right in the little downtown area. There’s a creek that runs through it, all the building are older looking, and it just feels homey yet European-like. It’s a drive to get there but such a experience to visit. There are a few hotels there including the Querencia, a big beautiful and unique bed and breakfast.
