We need your supports! Time is difficult but when the community comes together we can do the impossible. Together we can! Please consider donating to our organization today. All donations, small or large, are impactful to help us continue our mission to provide healing space, fight food insecurity, health promotion education, COVID-19 education to low-income and highly impacted areas, and diverse programs to empower and build resiliency for our community.

Filling out your census makes sure our neighborhood gets its fair portion of funding for the next ten years! Do you need assistance or need help with Khmer translation? Reach out at (562) 704-6778 and find out more at www.theMAYEcenter.org. The census determines how our community receives government funding for social programs & infrastructure we need. It shapes our political representation through redistricting and our number of congresspeople, determines funding for food a...nd housing assistance, public transit, roads and infrastructure, healthcare and Medicaid, education including student loans, school meals, and so much more! It’s so important and it’s safethere are no citizenship questions and all answers are confidential. #census #census2020 #wecount #wecountlongbeach #wecountlb #selfhealing #selfhealingjourney #maye #themayecenter #selfcare #traumainformed #socialjustice [1. Gardening as a healthy lifestyle for our mind, spirit, and physical wellness in an urban setting. Resiliency and empowerment exists in the midst of the concrete jungle. Remember it's our choice to transform our environment no matter how hard life gets, we have the freedom to be empowered as we strengthen ourselves going through this pandemic and social injustice. We nurture our mind, body, and spirit so that we can continue our fights against social injustice and to experienc...e the spiritual warrior within. Transformation starts with courage, love, and perseverance. #blm #socialjustice #transformingtrauma #gardening #themayecenter
