#Repost @joinigfa Katie Kosich has been on a tear in the western Pacific after setting her third line class record for Pacific bluefin tuna in less than two months. On July 15, 2020, she caught this amazing 55.79-kilogram (123-pound) bluefin to set the new IGFA Women’s 8-kg (16-lb) Line Class World Record . Katie was fishing out of San Clemente Island, California, and landed the record catch in 30 minutes after it struck a live mackerel. It's official! Marlin Club member Katie Kosich has landed the IGFA Women's 8-kg (16-lb) Line Class World Record, which was weighed in at the Marlin Club on July 15th! Congrats to Katie, Randy and all aboard the Kona on a job well done! And thanks for bringing some excitement to the club...we never know what the Kona is going to bring us:-)
